The truth is, not all bats suck blood. In fact, most bats mainly eat fruits and insects. So, the next time you see a flying bat do not run and hide. Try to watch this little flying mammals in the nighttime sky and all their beauty because without them our earth would be over populated with nasty mosquitoes and other nasty flying insects that cause irritating insect bites to us and other mammals.

James Bond makes a comeback

Soon after the completion of the latest James Bond film, Quantum of Solace, word spread that the series could be ending.

The news was stunning. The super suave spy had first appeared in book form in 1953′s Casino Royale. By 1962, Bond had invaded the movie world. The film, Dr. No, with Sean Connery masterfully playing Bond, did quite well at the box-office but received only mixed reviews. A year later a bigger and better film, From Russia with Love, opened around the world. The film was a box-office smash. Even the critic’s applauded its use of highbrow adventure and escapist entertainment. Connery played Bond four more times, followed by George Lazenby, Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.

In 2009, MGM’s financial troubles caused production on the latest Bond film to come to a halt. Things looked bleak for awhile until MGM pulled itself out of bankruptcy. A few months later Bond 23, rumored to be entitled Skyfall was filming.

Bond will be back in the theaters this November for his 40th year proving that James Bond lives.
